National honors for any individual are a proud moment and have incomparable joy. For years, western countries like the United States have demonstrated the virtues of honoring citizens and the increased sense of patriotism and focus that comes along with it.
But as this went on, Africans remained under the enclave of dictatorship and dictators who held strong to power and rather wanted more of self aggrandizement than any idea of seeking the true welfare of their citizenry, how much more consider an attempt to honor some the illustrious sons and daughters of the nation for the good work they have been making.
The tides have changed now and progressively getting better, so it’s no surprise that Genevieve Nnaji would want to remain excited and share her joy with family, friends and fans. The award is dedicated to all of you!!!
