get the music to her fans again and again. She’s received plenty of criticism to go with her latest tracks and while some may love her and others hate her, Nicki is addressing the naysayers who have doubted her along the way.
The deluxe version of her sophomore LP features a track with Charlamagne Tha God on it called “Press Conference.” It’s a 23 minute long piece where the two go back and forth and Nicki banters on with Scaff Beezy in the background at times.
Charlemagne is definitely a good fit for the spicy YMCMB Barbie, he gets down to the nitty gritty like no one’s business, and he asks the questions that most want to know about. On “Press Conference” the two talk repping New York, Nicki’s talent game on another level, her various characters being ‘who she is’ and being “a butt with lyrics.”
These are just a few of the things that Nicki speaks on, and while part of her gets a little wild, a lot of her responses are collected thoughts that make you really respect her hustle and the love she has for her craft. Check out a portion of her “Press Conference” track below.
