The song is an upbeat love song which clearly defines what that special girl in his life means to him. Blessed with a sonorous and dynamic voice, Casey establishes his position as a true artist who is ready for the game with his catchy melody and lyrics.

The song was written by Casey and  produced by talented producer TY-Mix.

BIO:

Casey Jolomi Edema was born on January 29 1983. Though an itsekiri by tribe, he was born in zaria, Kaduna state where he spent most of his formative years.

As a child, Casey’s love for music started to manifest as he joined the choir in a church in his local community in Zaria at the tender age of 10. He later moved to Asaba with his family after his secondary school education and still expressed his love of singing by joining a choir in a Christ Embassy Church in the community. He later grew as a musical Director in the choir. This gave him the ability to grow vocally and distinguish himself with his sonorous and very dyanamic vocals.

His musical influences include legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Rkelly, Michael Jackson, Maxwell and Tuface Idibia.

Casey obtained a diploma in Music from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. As a student in the school, he represented the school in the 9schools music Talent hunt organised by the Telecommunications Company RAINBOW NET&the Record Label Dome Records. This competition is one of the popular talent competitions among schools in the south eastern part of Nigeria and he was outstanding. In line of his passion for music, he worked from studio to studio as a studio assistant, songwriter and back up vocalist.

In 2009, Casey relocated to Lagos to pursue his dream in music. One of the ways to achieve this dream was when registered for the Mnet reality TV show, Glo Naija sings.

From the auditions, Casey wowed the preliminary judges with his songs and at the regional finals where he represented Lagos, he wowed both the live audience and viewers at home with his rendition of Rkelly’s Bump and Grind, a rare song to perform at any competition but one which distinguished him from the rest and proved his singing prowess and dexterity.

He was selected as one of the Top 10 contestants for the finals and week after week, he kept proving that his spot as one of the finalist was rightly earned as he never failed to impress. He went to win the show and took home a Rav 4 jeep and prize money of 100,000 us dollars. He also got a recording contract with Storm Records.
