Omawumi Megbele has reportedly givern birth to a birth to a bay girl. The singer has reportedly put to bed this morning in the US. She had left the country, presumably to flee prying eyes and has now delivered a baby girl.
The paternity of the child is still a mystery that Omawumi prefers to keep close to her chest, though a certain Lagos night club owner has been linked with her and her pregnancy. She is however yet to release an official statement to confirm the paternity, the pregncany, or the birth of the child.
We congratulate Omawumi, and also welcome the baby, her first baby, into the world.
Omawunmi has confirmed the birth in a statement released earlier.
“I’m so excited I have delivered,” she announced in a statement from her public relations representatives. “It’s always fulfilling for me when I achieve a milestone in my life. You know the whole story that once you deliver all the pain goes away,” she added in the statement, “That’s a lie! But when I heard her cry and held her in my arms, I felt so thankful and in awe of God’s awesomeness! Baby and mama are fine, great actually. And we feel soo good!”
The “pretty bundle of joy” was delivered at Rockdale Medical Center in Atlanta.
