Michael Jackson’s Mother Says Murray’s Sentencing Won’t Bring Her Son Back

Katherine and Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson’s absence has been felt around the world, but by no group more than his family. Following yesterday’s sentencing of Conrad Murray—the doctor who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s death—the pop icon’s mother, Katherine Jackson, told the BBC how she felt about the outcome of the case. “Well, four years is not enough for someone’s life, it wont bring him back, but at least he got the maximum. I thought the judge was very, very fair, and I thank him,” Jackson said. “Four years won’t bring my son back, but that’s the law. So the judge gave him the maximum. So, I thank the judge, and I thank the prosecutors. And I think everything went very well went.”

Jermaine Jackson, who was escorting his mother, added, “A hundred years is not enough!”

Do you think the sentence was strict enough? Tell us in the comments.
