He’s been known to push the boundaries of style whether he’s rocking women’s skinny jeans or a brightly colored tee with a Rebel8 hat. So what’s next for the hip hop fashion heavy hitter? His own shoe. Anyone who’s a big name in the game has their own shoe– and Kanye West is the perfect example with his coveted Nike Air Yeezy shoe.
Vibe caught up with Wayne to get the scoop on the upcoming shoe deal, where Weezy F. Baby noted that he is putting out a shoe– but it’s not within his own Trukfit line. So who picked up Wayne for a deal then?
“Nah, it’s not a Nike or Reebok, I can tell you that much.” But when the mag inquired about the Supra brand that he’s had on heavy rotation he simply said, “Uh-oh. Watch out.”
Will he ever have a Trukfit shoe? “That will probably be further way down the line. I do have a shoe coming out soon but it won’t be Trukfit. I have shoe with a well-known company. I just don’t want to say yet because Ihaven’t dotted the line yet. But it’s done.”
