the scenes look at his life on his popular VH1 show, VH1′s T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. Know the Atlanta rapper has decided to give fans a new insight on his opinions of love & relationships with his new single “Love This Life,” which will drop next month.
According to XXLMag.com, the song’s concept is about a woman wanting to leave a man, but the man is trying to persuade her to stay. When asked about the song, T.I. told the magazine, “It’s speaking to woman, but from a man’s perspective. People who find themselves in a situation where the woman might say she wants to part ways with the man, but the man [is] like, ‘Let’s be sensible about this. You gonna leave all this? And go where?’ That’s what he is sayin’, the gentleman is sayin’.”
The song is bound to speak to fans on a variety of levels, especially those who have been in similar relationship predicaments. However, T.I. has been married to Tiny for about a year and a half, so fans should know that the song isn’t inspired by his current relationship. XXL reported that T.I. had to get inspiration from a close friend who was in a situation in which he treated the mother of his child with the utmost respect, yet she continued to bring forth unnecessary drama.
That situation with his friend inspired T.I. to write his new single “Love This Life,” in which he expresses that when you have a good thing, why would you want to leave that life?
Look for the single to officially drop within the next few weeks.
