Mega producer Timbaland has produced countless hits in his career, but he was also noted for producing some of Aaliyah’s major hits. One of the hits that Timbaland produced for Aaliyah was “Are You That Somebody?” He produced the hit in 1998 for the soundtrack of Dr. Doolittle, and it’s impeccable production skills paired with Aaliyah’s angelic voice won the track a Grammy Nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
Even though the track came out in 1998, it’s still a timeless track that many listen to. Timbaland decided to release exclusive footage of him recalling making the track.
