of 2012, and of course the hip hop list garners some of the same top 5 members year in and year out in the recent times elapsed. This year is no different, except for the fact that Diddy and four of his close money making friends are atop the exclusive “Forbes 5″ and Diddy trumps the list yet again at $550 Million in 2012.
Just a mere $90 million ahead of Jay-Z, Diddy’s business ventures have him set forth to fully take on his new television network late-late this year (think 2013) and own the channel outright. “Revolt” will be Diddy’s version of a more urbanized MTV style channel– minus cheesy tv shows.
But his numbers this year don’t include anything for the upcoming channel, so there’s a big prediction that the New York based Sean Diddy Combs could be the first hip hop artist to be catapulted into the Billionaire territory.
This year’s latest contributor to Combs’ income was without a doubt Cîroc Vodka and the introduction of the peach flavored liquor. He’s incorporated a whole team of celebrities to be a part of his advertising and marketing campaigns when it comes to the high end spirits– and clearly Diddy knows what he’s doing.
