According to freshlikedougie.com After the rapper Tupac Shakur appeared in hologram form at
the Coachella Music Festival, rumors immediately started circulating about the possibility of a tour featuring the hologram of the late rapper. But Dr. Dre took to YouTube last night to dismiss the rumor – at least for now.
“It was strictly for Coachella, get it right,” Dre said in a video filmed backstage before his second Coachella performance. “I want to get rid of all the rumors our there. This was not done for a tour.”
However, he did seem to leave the option open for a future tour.
“If a tour happens, we’ll see,” he said. Then he added that “this was done strictly for Coachella 2012, baby, just for you.”
The rapper went on to thank AV Concepts and Digital Domain, the companies that created the hologram, for making his “idea come to life.” The video ended with Dre worried less about any future plans and focusing on his task at hand, which was the many fans awaiting his Coachella appearance.
“I gotta get my ass on stage and rock this motherf—cker,” he said.
