The Radio France Internationale (RFI) International Contest is an annual music competition
in France that started in 1981. The contest involves 10 artistes being selected from countries in Africa, who will go on tour together, performing in 8 African countries and in Paris, France. And, after this process, one winner will eventually emerge from the 10 selected artistes.
Since this contest’s inception in 1981, no Nigerian contestant has emerged until now that GT The Guitarman has been selected for his single, “Excuse Me, Sir” that dropped in January 2012. The selection was based on the quality of music – its songwriting, production and delivery of his songs.
So, guys, let’s all support our own Nigerian singing sensation, GT The Guitarman and get to voting. Voting has started and will end on the 23rd of September.
