The fashion was fierce at the 2013 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday. The theme this year was punk, but not all the celebrities adhered to the dress code.
Beyoncé was the belle of the ball in a black-and-gold Givenchy haute couture gown, topping off her regal look with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci also dressed dad-to-be Kanye West and his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian, while Frank Ocean and Madonna joined them at the Givenchy table.
Nicki Minaj sported curly blonde hair and a blue gown, designed by Tommy Hilfiger. To thank her for her support, the designer gifted her with a Rolex earlier in the day. Solange was beautiful in a blue Kenzo creation, Alicia Keys wowed in Jason Wu, Jennifer Lopez showed off her curves in Michael Kors, and Rita Ora modeled Thakoon.
