Nicki Minaj has become quite the leading lady of current hip-hop generation. We aren’t even
that far in 2012 and she is already racking up accolades day by day. She has gained such mass appeal on an international level, so it was only a matter of time before she signed on to endorse a major brand within pop culture.
There are a lot of brands that could have utilized Nicki Minaj’s sensational mass appeal to the current generation, but Pepsi knew that she would be the perfect spokesperson to endorse their new beverage called ‘Pop.’
According to Forbes, the endorsement is a multi-million dollar partnership between Pepsi and Nicki Minaj. While the details surrounding the endorsement are still being finalized, it’s quite apparent that having Nicki Minaj as the face of the brand will bring in a large amount of cash.
The beverage ‘Pop’ should be out sometime this year. There isn’t a lot of details released yet, but we do know that a commercial featuring the new face of Pepsi, Nicki Minaj, will be released in the forthcoming months.
Derek Jackson, the agent who made the agreement, officially broke the news to Forbes. He said, ““You’ll see the commercial probably in the next two months.That’ll be a segue into a new beverage Pepsi has, called ‘Pop,’ and she’ll be the face of the brand … it’s going to be explosive.”
