Last December, Drake announced to a live audience that he would soon be collaborating with
Justin Bieber after the two appeared together performing Drizzy’s hit “Trust Issues” at a Los Angeles concert. Now Drake opens up about that new collaboration.

Speaking to London’s Capital FM radio station recently, Drake talked about what the new track will sound like.

“It sounds like everything you’d imagine a great Justin Bieber and Drake song would sound like,” he told reporter Kevin Hughes.

He also went into some detail about the way the two artists worked together in the studio.

“We meet on the ground of melody he’s always like ‘Yo, you’re melodies are so crazy’ and ‘give me the craziest melody,’” Drake expressed, “so we sat there for a night and it was actually a great studio process. What we would do is he would go in the booth for ten minutes and he would hum melodies,” he continued, “and then he would walk out and then I’d be like ‘I like this on’ and then I’d go in and we sort of started coaching each other and amping each other up.”

Drake didn’t give out the name of the track, but he did say that he hopes the song will show up on Believe, Bieber’s upcoming album set to be released sometime this summer.
