Beyonce’s mum gushes about Blue Ivy!

Beyonce’s mum gushes about Blue Ivy!

You can follow us @Areme1
sources heatworld.com Beyonce’s mum - Tina Knowles to you and I – says that being a
grandma is “The second best job I’ve ever had”. We’re guessing that’s after being a mum to Beyonce and Solange and NOT designing clothes for the kind of heinous House of Dereon brand…

Talking to People, she added that she thinks Bey’s doing a great job of motherhood: “She’s doing great. She’s beautiful.” Awww. We totally agree, Tina!

Blue makes her mark
In other Bey-Bey news (see what we did there?), the new mum and Jay Z are apparently trademarking Blue Ivy’s name. Not that we have a baby or anything, but if we did, trademarking his or her name might not be number one on our to-do list. But then again, (unfortunately for us) we’re not Beyonce. According to the Washington Post, the singer and her rapper husband have applied to trademark Blue Ivy’s name – either so that they can cash in on it with a range of babywear, or so that other sneaky entrepreneurial sorts who have nothing to do with Blue Ivy don’t try to cash in on her.

The new parents filed the application to the US Patent and Trademark Office on the 26th of January, stopping fashion designer Joseph Mbeh from having rights to the name. Someone else had earlier applied for “Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV” to be trademarked for a perfume, which we’re sure would’ve been a massive error anyway – who wants to smell like a baby?

Jay Z in London?
And in even further news, this afternoon, Twitter was awash with rumours that Kanye West and Jay Z were to be in east London this afternoon to promote their new single N****s In Paris. Lots of trendy-looking types spent the afternoon trying to hunt down the pair after mysterious leaflets distributed by Kanye’s representatives appeared nearby. In the end, the Watch The Throne stars’ new video was projected on a wall and a lot of people watched it, but the rappers were nowhere to be seen…
