Rihanna breaks silence on Chris Brown collaborations

sources heatworld.com If a mate started to work with their violent ex, you’d want a good
explanation for it, right? Well, same goes for Rihanna, who has recently collaborated with Chris Brown on not one, but TWO new tracks.

She called Ryan Seacrest on his radio show to explain her decision: “The first song that came about was Birthday Cake. I reached out to him about doing it because that’s the only person that really – it made sense to do the record.”

Oh dear, Rihanna. Of all the people in the world you could collaborate with, you picked the only one who once assaulted you!

She continued: “Just as a musician, despite everything else, that was going to be the person. You know I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown.”

What about...R Kelly!? What about…um…Dappy? Or Beyonce? A Rihanna and Beyonce collaboration would be UHmazing!

But no, Rihanna had decided: “I wanted him on the track, and then in turn he was like ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and it was a trade-off. We did two records. One for my fans. One for his fans, and that way our fans can come together.

"There shouldn’t be a divide. You know? It’s music, and it’s innocent.”

This doesn't make us feel at all better about the collaborations. Just to add insult to injury, Rihanna's said that Britain isn't bright enough for her. When asked if she's moving to London, she replied: "No, I should though. I spend so much time there. I do like it there. It’s just too cold, and too gloomy."

What do you think of Rihanna and Chris Brown's collaboration?
