sources  freshlikedougie.com Though this year’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival was arguably one of the colder climate years in a long while, 2012 marked some of the best performances to date– especially when it came to the closing act with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

Not only were there plenty of surprise performers hopping on stage with the West Coast crew, but there was also one stage performer that was completely unexpected– Tupac Shakur. Pac was back just for last night, and had the crowd going nuts with the holographic figure that danced around on stage with the same mannerisms as the late rapper.

Though it’s been over 15 years since his death, Dr. Dre utilized some cutting edge technologies to make this super-surprise happen. The creator spoke on the inception of the hologram noting, “A typical hologram can go for anywhere between $100,000 and $400,000, but [the] company can recreate deceased persons and recreate them in the studio.” There’s no real revealed price range just yet. Just to create that hologram? By the looks and talks of it all, it was worth every penny.

Not to overshadow the other performers Eminem, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Kendrick Lamar — 2Pac only appeared for a little while alongside Snoop while they got down to “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” among others.

Check out the performance below, it’ll give you goosebumps.
